The courses we provide aim to present a varied range of both exciting recipe ideas and simple healthy preparations. As our name suggests we believe in making the best of the raw materials at hand. Our main emphasis is centred around the simple principle of instinctive eating to attain maximum assimilation. To this end our policy is always to minimize ingredients, making the best use of the fresh flavours. This is achieved through the amazing versatility all foods have by the use of simple machinery in preparation; planning ahead by soaking and sprouting nuts, seeds, grains and dried fruit. Simply sharing in the active preparation will teach you new techniques, giving you the confidence to continue more healthy eating at home and modify our ideas to suit your own tastes and individual dietary needs.
Locally sourced, in season organic fruit and vegetables, including an impressive array of wild foods make up more than half of the ingredients we use. The other staples include seaweeds, seeds and fermented soya products; all organic.
The art of saving money on expensive products and supplements while learning good plant sources of important phytochemicals is vital in this new age of nutrition. In the wild we would live entirely on plants existing within walking distance, all grown organically by nature; eating instinctively appealing leaves and fruits. The next best thing is to realize and respond to our silent cravings. Each person’s dietary needs are unique and can be adapted to suit their budget and surroundings. Buying the raw materials you need to have at your fingertips you can achieve consistent and long term satisfaction from your diet.
It is only by separating the awkward combinations that we have become so accustomed to that we begin to feel intuitively what our bodies need at that moment, facilitating the recognition of any lacking nutrients. By experiencing the effects of different foods you will learn when to eat instinctively. To meet your physical needs in the easiest and most natural way possible it is equally important to know which food to eat, when to eat it and when you are satisfied.
The course aims to provide support and guidance to help you really start living and preparing the right foods for you and your family.
Outline of Programme
(This of course is open to change depending on the guests interests and needs)
Day 1 We like to begin with an informal evening of getting to know each other with general discussion and a delicious buffet dinner
Day 2
Ideally our day starts with a shared yoga session, followed by breakfast, we then have a lunch preparation demonstration followed by of course lunch. After lunch in true Spanish style we have a siesta time then through the afternoon a discussion on a topic like natural body and seasonal cycles; ie digestion and elimination followed by a wild walk in the beautiful mountainous surroundings. We then collectively prepare dinner and share it!
Day 3
Again we start with a optional qi gung and yoga session followed by breakfast, if of interest to our participants we do a dehydrator/sun-drying demo with the preparation of fruit, sunflower burgers, biscuits and crackers. Then it's communal lunch preparation and sharing, followed by a siesta, in the afternoon we might do a preparation of toppings, pates, sweets and sauces. We finish with a sharing of salads and tapas in the cherry orchard.
Day 4
More optional yoga then fresh juices around the pool, brunch at a relaxed hour followed by your possible departure, though of course attendees can book additional nights accommodation if required.

Cancellation; 100% refund with 30 days notice or more, 50% with 14 days notice. No refunds will be made for cancellations made within 14 days prior to course, sorry but a lot of time and preparations go into our courses including food supplies etc.
